CLEAR PRIORITY |
Clears priority setting which may have been previously set. (See Set Priority Below) |

CLEAR MARKS |
Clears marks which may have been previously set. (See marks below) |

DELETE BLOCK |
To delete a block of dictation, set a mark at the beginning and end of the dictation to be deleted, the chose delete block. |

END/STOP |
Select this option to advance to the end of the dictation and stop. A double beep indicates the end of current dictation. At this point , either depress the appropriate numeral to resume dictation (record over), depress the appropriate numeral to begin dictating the next job, or disconnect to sign off. |

FAST FORWARD |
This will give an incremental fast forward and automatically begin to playback the recorded dictation. Each beep represents one increment fast forwarded. The increments fast forwarded in seconds are set in the individual user's profile. |

GO TO AUTHOR MODE |
Select this option to return to author mode. |

GO TO LISTEN MODE |
Select this option to switch to listen mode. |

GO TO TRANSCRIBE |
Select this option to switch to transcription mode. |

GO TO VOICE MAIL |
Select this option to switch to voice mail. |

HELP |
Choose this option to receive verbal instructions for each of the functions performed by the Touch-Tone keys. (NOTE: This help is a user defined and recorded file. Use the Voice Librarian function to record the appropriate prompt.) |

HOME PLAY |
Select this option to go to the beginning of dictation and initiate playback. |
|
IMPRESSION |
This option allows one electronic mark to be set in the dictation. The mark is useful to bypass a body of dictation and access the impression / summary / diagnosis instantly when in the listen or transcribe mode. |

INSERT VOICE TEMPLATE |
Use this option to insert voice template information into the current job. (NOTE: The voice templates are ‘boilerplate' dictations which are recorded and stored in the template directory.) |

LEAVE OPEN |
This option allows unlimited jobs to remain open on the job queue. An open job provides access for additional dictation or review. A job must be closed to advance to the transcribe queue. To access open jobs, enter the exact subject code and/ or work type of the desired job. When additional dictation is complete, at sign off the open status changes to closed status and is queued to transcription. |

NEXT DICTATION |
Select next dictation to begin a new job. |
|
NEXT JOB (work type only) |
This operation has two functions. First, if using the work prompt question/answer (WRKPRP) feature, selecting next job prompts for the next question. Second, if not using WRKPRP or after the last question selecting this operation begins another job of the same subject code but allows entry of a different work type. |

NO OPERATION |
This key has no function. |

PAUSE/PLAY |
To pause during dictation or playback press this key once; to resume playback, press this key again. |

RECORD OVER |
Records over (erases) existing dictation. |
|
RECORD INSERT |
Inserts dictation starting at the mark. |
|
RECORD AT END |
Go to the end of the dictation and begin recording. |
|
REVIEW MARKS |
Listen to dictation between two marks. |

REWIND |
This will give an incremental backspace and automatically begin to playback the recorded dictation. Each beep represents one increment of backspace (usually 3 seconds.) |

SET PRIORITY |
Depress this key to identify the current dictation as a priority job. |
|
SET MARK |
Set marks to identify a block of dictation to be deleted. A mark must be at the beginning and end of the block to be deleted. |

SPEAK HELP |
Choose this option to have voice prompted help information played. |

SPEAK INFORMATION |
This option will play job information such as job number, author id, subject code and work type for the current dictation. |
